Meet Dr. Britt Scott
Chiropractor

Dr. Britt Scott is a southern girl who now calls Charlotte, NC home. Born to a military family in the state of Alabama, Dr. Britt found herself moving all over the south to states like Texas, Florida and Arizona. After graduating high school, Dr. Britt attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL where her love for nutrition blossomed as she earned her degree in dietetics. Not long after graduating from JSU, there was a desire to do more in the field of health, which led Dr. Britt to pursue her chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL.

The sunshine and beach life only lasted 3 years , because for her last 6 months of chiropractic school, Dr. Britt was selected to complete a clinical clerkship at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System. During her time in Des Moines, Dr. Britt learned the importance of collaboration and education to set each and every patient up for success. Fast forward to today, Dr. Britt has officially settled her roots here in the Queen City. If she is not in the office treating patients, you can catch Dr. Britt attending Panthers, Hornets and Charlotte FC games, frequenting various fitness studios throughout the city, or watching Family Feud with her husband Barrett and 5 year old Shih Tzu Marley.

Meet Mike Elkins
Licensed Massage Therapist

Mike has been a licensed massage therapist, clinical bodyworker, and massage therapy educator for over three decades. His approach to treating soft tissue dysfunction is straightforward: Improved posture leads to more efficient body mechanics (movement patterns) and less compression throughout the body, i.e., joints, nerves, blood, and lymph vessels. The result is decreased pain, greater range of motion, and vastly improved physical performance.

Mike incorporates various techniques drawn from neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, sports, and deep tissue massage to achieve the goals he shares with his clients. For chronic pain sufferers, Mike blends subtle energy and myofascial techniques to address stored cellular memory. He believes that soft tissue therapy is an integral part of the holistic approach to restoring and maintaining the body’s balance.

Interesting side note: Mike was the sports massage therapist for the Carolina Panthers for 20 years and treated the team during both Super Bowl appearances.
